the new 84.26 seems to be the fastest in games....so i would use it! Any other problems i never had with any of the drivers!

Mr.G, I have a Toshiba Qosmio G20-128 / nVidia 6600 go. Here are my results using Futuremark 3DMark 06 on my laptop in daily use configuration (av / fw / as active):

At 1024x768

Driver version: 84.43, 87.25

3DMark Score: 1447, 1449

SM2.0 Score: 545, 546

SM3.0 Score: 551, 552

CPU Score Score: 845, 850

At 1440x900

Driver version: 84.43, 87.25

3DMark Score: 1147, 1150

SM2.0 Score: 427, 428

SM3.0 Score: 422, 422

CPU Score Score: 853, 852

After some more tests and lower results with 84.xx, I have decided to use 87.25.

The only problem I have to report is about the unistall feature of the 87.25 driver. It gives an error that does not stop anyway the unistall process.

Have a good day and thanks for your infos!

91.28 Driver benchmarks added!

I had to change the Quake4 demofile because of problems with the old one and Patch 1.2

No problems with the new driver yet!

@Enokabukka: thx for posting your scores!

Did you run the same quake 4 benchmarks with the same settings on the 90 series as you did on the 84 series? Cause that seems like a huge drop between drivers.

A quick question for you Mr. G, or anyone who may have an answer or theory...

Why does My Qosmio f-25 come with a Go 6600 64 MB card? I am assuming the the F-20 is an earlier version of Qosmio, but all f-25's come with a 64 MB card. It is PCI-E, so I am wondering if maybe the the F-20's Go 6600 128 MB is AGP and if my card being PCI-E makes it basically equivalent to your card, or if your card is actually PCI-E as well (which, while I am happy for you :) , I will be doublely annoyed for me, since the F-25 is a later release and should at least have an equivalent gpu, especially for the money I dropped on it six months ago!) Thanks!

Ahh, the F-25's are Toshiba US and the F-20 are Toshiba EU, so I am assuming Toshiba US just doesn't like us yanks as much as Toshiba EU likes their Europeans! :) Well, I should have been more astute before making my purchase. At first I was pretty p.o.'ed at myself for getting a laptop with a lesser video card which is causing me problems with games, but then again, that very thing made me begin studying my computer more seriously, and when it comes time to make the next purchase, I won't be ignorant in my methodology for purchasing ever again, so I guess in the long run its a blessing.

I think theres definetely something screwing with your scores...On my laptop, its the same as yours but with a weaker processor, Im scoring in the 1400's with the same overclocks as you and using 84.63. Could you just check to see if there isnt some process running in the background thats making your score lower?

Dear Mr. G,

I have the same laptop as yours and I have tried to use the 91.28 and I'm still facing problems. I have the same laptop as yours and I tried updating the driver for my GO 6600, to run Freedom Fighters. The problem is that the game is too fast, when you type a letter it is repeated several times from the mere tap on the button, the character moves very fast.

The game runs with DirectX 8.1 and I have WinXP MCE 2005, any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot.
