Tried; 3xBSOD. The first ever after having tested 55 drivers so far...

Think it was the mini.sys. I'll forget this one.

zipper, was the MSI CPL enabled? I know that Pieter's disables it by default as we had huge amount of problems in the past to uninstall cleanly.

Probably not, must check, time permitting.

...checking....seems enabled for my untrained eyes, no semicolons there.

I've placed the above in a section that doesn't get called by the installer.

So the MSI CP is not available in the modded INF.

If you removed this line [MSI_Controlpanel] then the MSI CP will be installed and usable.

Although I don't know what will happen if you do and want to try and remove it.

So it's not causing that BSOD.

BTW, it's occuring during the install process.

It's not the cause of your problems as it's not used in the installer.

You could try removing the line mentioned above and reinstall.

I'll have a closer look at this driver to see if anything else might be afoot.

[uPDATE] Looked throught the INF, there is no problem there, I doubt wether the INF is to blame here.

There must be something else afoot here.
