soldenburg
I just installed the 84.69 32 bit driver and my system quit with a blue screen after login. Any ideas? I'm searching for an updated Driver because I've got problems with the 3d functionality using the program Hypermesh from altair.
sn0wl
Try one of the common drivers, like 84.25.
Fabrice Roux
Have you tried Dell latest driver? The 83.13 should work... (the page is in french since I forgot to use the Dell US support shortcut but its the multilingual driver there) If it doesn't... aim for the modded driver 84.30. ps: I really would like to know how people select the driver they download. soldenburg
ps: I really would like to know how people select the driver they download. I don't know which driver I should select. I'm just a normal user. The only thing I know is that the original Dell Driver does not work with the Program I am using. The Dell Hotline could not help and the guys from altair first have to check an this can take a few days. So I had to search for a driver on my own and I downloaded the latest driver form this page. If I would know I would not post for help. The problem with the blue screen was, that I used the modded inf. When installing the driver with the original inf everything worksout fine. From the Quickstart Guide: Choosing the DriverWhat is the latest driver for my graphics card? Which driver should I use with my graphics card? What is the best driver? (...) Current recommended driver for general use is: 84.25 (32bit XP), 84.25 (64bit XP) The link to the quickstart guide is provided on ALL the driver pages.
