Higher temperatures using modded INF than OEM INF?

Hi, I'm just wondering what causes a higher temperature when using the modded INF compared to the OEM's (Dell in my case) INF file?

I want the nVidia 84.63 drivers on my XPS Gen 2 (Geforce 6800 Go Ultra), but when using the modded INF file, it causes a higher idle/load temperature than two drivers I used before (Dell's 78.51 and the leaked Dell's 82.10). Is there any possible way to add/edit in the setting to keep the temperature like it is in the Dell drivers?

Blah. Nevermind, I got it :)

I ended up constructing an INF file using Dell settings, then noticed I was missing the "PerfLevelSrcNV36_AddReg" section :) . After adding it in, my temperatures are back to normal.
