Guest William
Why is that the 90+ veresions of drivers dont work on my laptop? Like after reboot i get that really ignoying blue screen. BDOS or something. Why is that i dont get the blue screen when i download the drivers from 80+? I use a Samsung P50. http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/mobilec...=Specifications mines the Geforce Go 7400 GPU. I've tried the search but no answers to my question. So I'm here to find out. Those updates are very important to me because I run 3D applications on this laptop and the application crashes cause my graphic card is outdated... If the software tells you your hardware (graphics card) is outdated.. what good is new software going to do you?
Fabrice Roux
The GeForce 7400 comes from the last batch of GeForces. While it's not the most powerfull graphic card... it one of the most recent hardware wise. Contact the support of these 3D apps... you paid big bucks for those apps which means that you are allowed to get support. None of the 9x.xx serie driver was released for laptops yet... this serie is causing a lot of BSOD on a lot of laptops. The driver provided by Samsung 83.10 is not that old... but you might want to try the 84.25.
Guest Guest
Do you have any idea when those updates for laptop are going to come out? And the software did not tell me that the graphic card was outdated... I contacted the softare makers. They told me to download the latest driver for the gpu... will
Fabrice Roux
What is the name of the software that gives you issues... usually pro 3D apps use OpenGL which is STABLE for a lot of time. So I doubt that your 3D app requires a 90+ driver. Plus the fact that the 90s serie is only officially supported on pro GPUs since yesterday. Ā®Ā®Ā®
I contacted the softare makers. They told me to download the latest driver for the gpu... :) Another case of living in a cave. Apparantly they do NOT know that there is a problem since *lets count* about 4 years where Laptop manufacturers in common refuse to offer updated NV drivers for customers?!?!!! ... which is were we jump in. Hey this looks like a Mustang Boss 429:
Fabrice Roux
Here are the requirements: Minimum 1GB RAM Minimum 100MB available hard disk space(3GB required for all content and integrated training materials) OpenGLĀ®-enabled graphics card Monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 or greater DVD-ROM drive (for support materials) Internet connection required for product activation Adobe Photoshop CS or later required for modo ImageSynth You shouldn't even have troubles running this program. Could you follow this procedure: - uninstall current driver from control panel Add and remove programs. - reboot. - install 91.36 + its modded INF. This is likely the top notch driver for pro apps right now.... (it was released yesterday by nVidia for it's Quadro line) But I checked the release notes... nothing about your Modo thingy. :)

Fabrice Roux
It 's possible but at least you would have used the latest pro oriented driver. ps: I took the liberty to rename the thread to something a little bit more informative
