bretthoerner
I have a Dell D620 and a Dell 2405FPW (LCD) I use as an extended desktop. I always set the LCD as secondary and I "map" the LCD physically above my laptop display, because I have the LCD set up above my laptop and want my mouse to work in a sensible way. Anyways, when I reboot my machine I see the BIOS / Windows Startup process on my laptop, but then when the login prompt loads it only loads on my external LCD, which I only want to turn on as I need. Once I login, my laptop becomes the primary again instantly... but my LCD is now 'mapped' to the right, not above. Any ideas? Basically, I want my laptop to ALWAYS be primary and I want it to remember that my external LCD is "above" my laptop display.
