The 7400 is already handled by the modded INF file:

NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D8.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400"

NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D9.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 GS"

Plus your code is not clean it uses the same DEV_ID in 2 references.

Just tested the driver on my Sony with Vista Pre-RC1 (Build 5536) and the driver works perfectly :)

dunno if it will work on any previous versions...

Works perfectly has a different definition from people to people... if you don't play games at all... if you play DirectX games... if you play OpenGL games... if you mollest yourself on the blurry transparency of the graphical interface of Windows.

yes could be :)

But I don't think there are many people using this as a main os ? (I hope there aren't too many...)

Flashing the VBIOS is the solution to every issue you'll ever encounter in the world.

You have a small weener... flash you VBIOS. Get a big german car works too.

Your baby girl is growing teeth... flash your VBIOS.

Seriously guys...

I have the 97.43 but I'm not supposed to release it until Vista goes gold.

Okay, understand that, but can you tell me if the performance is better?

Not supposed to release it? Are you a nvidia betatester?

I also get the "code 43"-error, when I have 96.33 installed with modded INF.

My Laptop is a Samsung M55 with a Geforce Go 7600.

Anyone tried the new build of Vista, that was released recently?

Anyone else installed Vista on a Samsung M55?

Tried several driver s/w with modded INF's, but no success. :)

I'm must say that I'm very disappointed by Nvidia.

When will they release a driver for integrated GPU's for Vista?

When I look to ATI, then I get the proof that it's possible.

They have a driver to download which is compatible to all the integrated GPU's.

Yes, why can't they provide beta drivers even for mobile GPU's? When Vista goes RTM, manufacturers can release their own drivers from then on...

I'm running 5728 on here right now with the 96.33 drivers.

Aero and everything works fine, I've just had problems with games and videos (artifacts in video and the screen flashes in games)

What driver version is included with 5728, or where can I find the file?

i'm not sure, but this might be the old forceware problem.

the forceware has a color adjustment and there u have to select "apply for all" and not "desktop".

i dont know the exact name of this adjustment, i have a german interface.

I havent been able to try it because i had to remove my vista installation. It kept giving me the BSOD frequently.

Is there anyone else who has tried it already?

Hope it will be solved soon... just got 1024x768 pixels right now and it sucks :/

Strange both Laptop2go and Microsoft drivers install just fine without errors but after restart it just gives error 43. :)
