ducatony
I upgraded my forceware to the newest version 91.47 and now I cannot play video files at all. It just breaks when I try to. And in the nvidia control panel when I try to open the video settings it shows me a small window with the red cross in it and all it says is nvvitvs. I have a 6600 gt. And for some reason I cannot downgrade the forceware to 81.25 because it resets itself during the installation.
Bill
Should be able to rollback the driver from the device manger, or uninstall from add or remove programs menu. It is a very BAD idea to try to install an older driver on top of a newer one without uninstalling first. Also this particular driver originaly was messed up as uploaded (Guru 3Ds fault) We now have a good version uploaded, so redownload it and the INF just to make sure. Also it is now up on Nvidia's site and WHQLed so I would think that one or the newer download here would atleast run fine out of the box on a 6600 GT desktop card.
