Ashandorath
I downloaded some of the 90's and every one has managed to crash (blue screen muttering something about the driver) after I log in. My grafics card: nvidia GeForce FX go 5650 Resolution: 1680*1050 (16:9) whereas most games I play use a 4:3 resolution. Games played: (spellforce1, Unreal Tournament 2004, Counter strike source, dawn of war.) I'm looking for a driver mainly for gaming. If anybody has (a specific) one that works, please answer :) thx edit: the grafics card has 128mb. Is this any all in one official driver or do i have to copy in one of the modded .ini files? (i think i know what i am talking about!) :) Thanks in advance again, i really do appreciate this help. Fabrice Roux
do i have to copy in one of the modded .ini files? (i think i know what i am talking about!) Neah... you don't... INF is different of INI.
LLCOOLJ
OK, i will try the update. Rename graphic driver folder. Add and remove programs, Delete present graphic program. Restart and then run new driver install program, is that right (sorry to be a pain, this is my works laptop and don't want to break it :) !) Fabrice Roux
If you are unsure of what you are doing... be sure the restore points are saved correctly... so you'll be able to rollback to previous state.
ggtronic
i own the same machine than you since its release in october 2003... (you can read my review on my sig, but i`m not able to edit anymore , 9600 views of that review ! ) i do not run your type of games. In my case , BF2 need 81.95 http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....=8261&st=40 but i need to stick to old driver for HL2 ( 67.42 ). i would say try to stay with older driver to get your games runs OK...
