updating drivers on GeForce 6600 go problems

I have a Cyberpower custom built laptop with a PCI-X GeForce 6600go 256mb and i downloaded a driver off of Nvidia.com to update the driver so I can play Battlefield 2 without it bitching at me cause of outdated drivers and the installer says i dont have any hardware that requirest the driver. This is the first time a Nvidia card has EVER gave me problems. all my past problems were all with ATI cards not Nvidia. I hope you guys can help cause Nvidia.com wont let me signup (something to do with my email alrdy in database and it will screw up if i use another) and i dont have the product # around here for Cyberpower's support.
