johnequickiii
I have just recently installed a Geforce FX Go5200 64MB card in my Inspiron 5150 in place of a Geforce FX Go5200 32MB card. For some reason, no matter what driver I install for it, it seems to cut about 2-3 inches off of the right side of my screen and stretch the bottom of the screen about the same distance past the bottom. No matter what I do, or what settings I tried to change, I couldn't fix this. I also couldn't move the mouse past the black bar on the right side of the screen. After I'd install the drivers, all I had to do is go to the Display Settings and change anything, and that would happen to the screen, but it always fixed right after I uninstalled them. Please tell me that someone has either encountered this problem or atleast heard of it, and can help me fix it. I went to Dell and downloaded the drivers from there, (although they were the ones for the 32MB card), went to Nvidia and tried a few of their drivers, and even got the specialized drivers from 2 different sites, with no luck at all.
