n4v1n
I own a Toshiba G25 notebook and there is a utility called the Qosmio player, which basically enables you to watch tv/movies without booting up the OS. I recently bought an external monitor for this reason so that I could essentially use it as a TV. But when the system goes into the player, the screen shows no signal. I've hooked it up to the vga port. It's an asus VW192S. Im thinking that this defeats the purpose of the player b/c you cant watch on a larger screen. Fabrice Roux
Are you sure Qosmio player is able to handle external displays... these kind of apps usually work on the hardware inside the computer.
n4v1n
I don't know if that's true, but if it is, then it defeats the purpose of having a notebook like this :) Edited October 27, 2006 by n4v1n
