I just did the 3dmark05 test and got a score of 496.. wow.. something must be horribly wrong.

The 6150 is good for only one thing... and its not gaming. FYI the 6150 in a desktop computer allows to build inexpensive Home Theater PC.

You might want to stick with your OEM driver.

I doubt it, 6100 gets about 500 and 6200 700-1000.

You doubt it?

No.

I wouldn't lie about my score, honestly?

I guess I'll have to stick with the OEM drivers.. :)

Is there a way to change the graphic card and buy a better one? Or with notebooks are you stuck with what you've got?

First Zipper doubted that there was something wrong with your results.

There is no way to upgrade a laptop that uses that kind of low cost graphic card. The GPU is soldered on the motherboard to lower manufacturing costs.

There are laptops with modular graphics cards (like the Dells) and some use a the MXM standard which allows to swap graphic card pretty easilly. (check the MXM section of the forum)

sorry I couldn't be of help, I'm quoting coz I am interested with your current drivers, you see I purchased V3639AU Presario HP (vista based) and I have to down grade it to XP to run some of the programs used by the company I am working with (they don't run under VISTA). I have the latest drivers for nVidia geforce go 6150 VRAM but it runs only under VISTA. I would be more than happy to let you copy it (on rapid share maybe?) Can I copy your current nVidia display drivers?Does it run under XP?

THanks
