__-_-_-__
will the future Nvidia GeForce 8 series GPUs for notebooks support the mxm standart? it will be possible to upgrade a notebook to a geforce go 8 series? the new geforce 8 series support DirectX 10 and have more power consuption. will that cause problems? will the graphic card manufacturs finally sell mxm graphic cards like they sell the desktop ones nowdays? mobilenvidia
My guess is for a start it will be PCIe16 then move to 32 later. The go8800 GTX and GTS will consume more power than the 7800 series. But like the 7900 series there will be a die shrink later and the 8900 series should use less power and have higher clocks (all marketing) We'll probbaly also see odd sized RAM with 640MB and 768MB coming in with the funny bus sizes.
