Problem flash 7900 go GTX DELL

Hi, two months ago I flashed my 7900 go GTX 512 MB on the DELL m1710

Everything was right and I flashed by the same bios as the original just with higher clocks and voltage values.

I used nibitor to read my bios but it was not recognized by then and asked what kind of GPU it was, I put GeForce 7 Series, modified the bios and saved it.

I flashed it with nvflash a few times until I found the good frequencies.

But now I want to decrease the clocks and when I flash the bios it doesn't work.

Using nvflash tells me there's error in some hexadecimal code (as it seems for me) and when I tried WWFlash it tells me that it can't map the adress and that there's no nvidia card.

Could you please help me, I can't find a solution by myself.

Thanks

Head on over here for original BIOS's of various go79xx cards.

To flash your card use the command line nvflash -4 -5 -6 xxxxyyyy.rom

This will by pass any errors

But you are taking an awful risk.

Are you using nibitor 3.0a ? this is the latest and supports the go7900GTX.

Make sure you use this version or later.

Grab the original go7900GTX ROM I have included in link above.

Now mod this to get higher core/mem speeds.

What you are doing looks risky, if you try and change the GPU PCI_ID to match yours then you could end up with a corrupt BIOS and a non working machine.

Which will mean trying to flash it back blindly.

Be very careful and get a USB flash drive setup before you do, just incase.
