antispimmer
BSOD on my Alienware m5550 w/ 7600 go. I can't seem to use anything above 92.91. :)
Tralala
i dont understand why version is 96.98, and version vista is 96.85 ??? Is it compatible with vista ? ( INF features VISTA's new driver versioning scheme )
Fabrice Roux
Did you asked yourself the same question when switching from w98 to w2k then from w2k to wXP... nVidia increases it's driver version whatever the OS... w2k/wXP - wVista - Linux. The current drivers hover in the late 90s.
The_Lead_Factor
BSOD on my Alienware m5550 w/ 7600 go. I can't seem to use anything above 92.91. :) Strange, My m5500 runs all the 90's fine. :) Try uninstalling the current ones and running Driver Cleaner, there might be some file from 92.91 preventing it to update...? No avail; running Driver Cleaner, and installing these drivers first after a clean install still leads to a BSOD and stalling during startup. I do have an INF specially made for Alienware systems... What is different in your INF than the Modded INF at the top of the page? Could that possibly help alleviate my issues? I would suggest keeping the 84.26 :) Edit: Also, those dell drivers that he used to/still do advise using are pretty good too. :) Edited December 12, 2006 by Area51m-7700
