i8x00
if i take dmcpl.exe in the dell files for XP quadro4 drivers, after that, install needs nvqtwk.dll file. so i have downloaded it from the web because i did not found anywhere. after the end of the installation, the screen become black, whit a band of 1 centimeter in the middle of the screen . problem is the same if i choose to not install dmcpl.exe. what is the solution ? ps : -no problem with the XP installation -i have the SEC3255 LCD panel Edited December 18, 2006 by i8x00
mobilenvidia
I was never able to test the Win9x driver as I havn't had that OS for 5 years. Odd that the files arn't there, as I basd the INF on the original, ie only added more GPU support. Are you replacing the original INF with the modded one ? ie over writing it ? Also try an older driver, the Quadro 4 700gogl was first released as far back as the 40's
i8x00
i have replaced the .inf file in the 81.98 folder. but it doesn't work. i will try with an older driver. if someone had resolved this probleme with win98se install (the screen become black, whit a band of 1 centimeter in the middle of the screen - but no problem with XP), it will be great to post the solution here. thanks
i8x00
the 'nv4_disp.inf' file must be put in the 81.98 folder, but do we must change his name in 'nvaml.inf' to replace it ? where to find the drivers for win9x under 60.xx, because there is no driver for the quadro on www.nivdia.com (and on this site too) ? so this card works on win9x or not ? I am successfully using the 93.71 drivers with a quadro4 700 go gl and a sec3255 on the Inspiron 8200. What solved the problem for me was updating to the newest video bios: http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloa...mp;fileid=77106 let us know how it works =)
i8x00
Yes, that's work. I don't know if it's better with the new 93,71 driver, but it works ! Thanks a lot.
