jasonc84 Posted January 5, 2007 Report Share Posted January 5, 2007 I recently purchase an HP dv8408us laptop. Running 3dMark01 SE on the initial system, I got 17,900. However, after reformatting and installing plain ol' Windows MCE 2005 sans bloatware, my score is considerably lower (between 14,500 and 15,500). I have all drivers reinstalled, system is optimized, and have tried different video drivers. Any idea as to why I'm getting worse scores now, on a bloatware-free PC, than before?
