Guest canine45
I apparently have the geforce 6800 (i upgraded using this site) but on the dxdiag it said i have a geforce 4 go 420 chip installed in my laptop (toshiba satellite 2450) which is not good news at all because i don't think its making a difference having these updated new drivers. I have a new pc game and it is not working due to my really old graphics (or not recognising my new driver) as they do not support pixel shader 2 or something. Is there anyway of updating it? Other than that my laptop is working really great so its just a shame the grphaics cant be updated easily. Thanks
sn0wl
Satellite 2450 is an old model, you can't have 6800 with it. Only thing you've done is to force a 6800 driver installation. You cannot do anything about your GPU, it's soldered to mainboard. I suggest you reinstall the driver with correct setting. It may cause problems later on if not now.
