Thanks for sharing, moved this to Benchmark section. We would be glad if you could keep them updated with different drivers.

So the interesting thing is the overall 3dmark is the same, but the CPU is lower and sm 2 & 3 changed. I probably had some extra processes running, but whatever.

H.264 & VC-1 acceleration is now available, and thats what I was looking for so I keep these for now and test stability.

btw - the hardware vendor string for this card is:

%NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0299.1% = nv4_mobile, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0299

How did you upgrade the drivers from the factory ones from the website? When I try it says hardware not supported.

Thanks,

timbiotic

Nevermind I think I got it, just add the line he pasted %NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0299.1% = nv4_mobile, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0299 to the nv4_disp.inf file in the E:\NVIDIA\Win2k\163.71\English directory.

Anyone have luck with other drivers for this card? I noticed nvidia has really mucked up the download now so it is very hard to get drivers.

I'm confused...recently got a HP laptop with Quadro M512 graphics in it. Can't find drivers for it on nvidia's site. From this thread i gather that it is actually a geforce go 7900 GTX? Should I be able to download these drivers from nvidia.com and it will work?

Looking for the best support possible for h.264 and vc-1. Oh, and of course games.
