WPA2 mit Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 ABG Karte ?

Servus erstmal, ich bin der Neue.

Und um gleich zu starten, gleich mal eine Frage an die Netzwerkspezialisten:

Gibt es einen Treiber für den Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 ABG Chip der WPA2 unterstützt ? Der aktuelle Inteltreiber kann leider nur WPA. Hat da jemand einen Tipp ?

willkommen auf laptopvideo2go (nicht laptopWLAN2go :) ).

Windows XP ?

Die Software "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Network Connection Software 10.1.0.3" (Treiber wurde mit der Software mit installiert) von Intel die ich momentan benutze unterstützt auf einer "Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" problemlos WPA2. Ich weis jetzt nicht ob das die aktuellste Software ist (wahrscheinlich nicht, habe schon länger nicht mehr auf der Intel Homepage vorbeigeschaut) aber ich glaube kaum das Intel dieses Feature nachträglich wieder entfernt hat.

Wer statt der kostenlosen Intel Software lieber Windows XP für die Wi-Fi Verwaltung benutzt dem sei gesagt das Windows XP SP2 standardmäßig kein WPA2 unterstützt.

Zum nachrüsten einfach mal unter http://www.microsoft.com/downloads nach WPA2 suchen da gibt es dann ein

Update for Windows XP (KB893357) das dafür sorgt das XP auch WPA2 versteht und

Update for Windows XP (KB917021) ein Bugfix das WPA2 betrifft.

Danke für den Tipp, lade mir gerade die soft runter. Der reine, aktuelle Treiber (10.5.1.72) unter der Verwendung der MS Einstellungen unter XP SP2 MCE kann es nicht.

Teste es gleich mit der soft !
