jbbgabriel Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) Greetings I'm thinking on buying this HDD: Momentus 7200.1 SATA 1.5Gb/s 80-GB Hard Drive http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?vgne...mp;locale=en-US and install it as my main hard drive on my amilo 3438, and move the hard drive that came with my amilo 3438 to the second tray(5400rpm hard drive). ...now the questions :) 1 - Is this going to make a significant improvement on my laptop perfomance? or is it better to buy another identical hard drive that came with my laptop and setup it as RAID? 2 - Anyone know where i can buy all the parts needed to install the second hard drive here in UK? thx Edited January 27, 2007 by jbbgabriel Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It you are set on getting a second hard drive, I would buy the 7200 RPM and use your current as a second hard drive.
