have been searching for ages with no luck. Tried a few drivers from this site and nothing seems to have changed, currently using 97.46 driver.

I bought a new toshiba laptop 100-044 yesterday with vista home premium

What it is, is that vista and everything runs perfect but games and emulators stagger + are choppy when they should run perfect even on higher settings. So im guessing its a driver problem.

Im sure im installing the driver right. Replacing inf file, restarting, following guide but i notice no difference no matter what i use :) ok so im no expert with drivers but it seemed like it should work. Any ideas? OK the Nvidia menu has changed i just notice. MOre options yet none do anything to solve why thing play so bad.

Even on my old laptop with 256mb ram and sis650 i could record my amiga emulator on low which if i try with the new laptop runs at 1-3FPS im guessing :)

Ram 2046mb

I'm seeing a lot of posts here about Vista. It may be that what people are trying to do just won't work in Vista, or until some updates are released for vista or your emulator etc...things like this are bound to happen with a brand new OS. Sadly, sometimes things just won't work on a certain computer either.

I myself will be running Vista and XP as a dual boot. Perhaps folks should consider the dual OS option until all the Vista bugs are worked out.
