Kalin Dimitrov Posted February 17, 2007 Report Share Posted February 17, 2007 Hi there , Acer Aspire 1524 , after changed video adapter from fx go5700 to fx go5300 ( in warranty period) , things not working properly so , I decided to give a try to a bios update , I downloaded version 1.09 from acer website, and did it. Then after rebooting the machine beeps 1 long and 2 short beeps. And nothing more happens. Can anyone tell me what version I should put till now I tried 1.09 and 1.11 . I've checked here http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=6310 but can't see a download link. Guest manos_ir Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 i had the same problem...... acer had changed the vga to 5300 .... if i find a geforce fx 5700 to the laptop....i ll be able to restore it ? why acer didn't mention it ???????? because i realize that it's a common problem......
