One of my laptops that uses wireless connection gets an error message when it starts up and also its wireless connection doesn't work any longer. When I go to network settings, it says "make sure your router is turned on" even though its been on for months.

The error message that pops up when I start up the laptop:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\WINDOWS\Systems32\HncUpdate.exe

This application has request the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I was wondering whether some of my registries are corrupted or something. I scanned the laptop with spybot destroy and adware, but it wasnt fixed. I tried using two different AVs but found no viruses.

Can anyone help me?
