Laptopvideo2Go Site Errors/Problems

I wasn't sure which forum/category this goes in but I had some issues when registering.

The Country, Brand, Video memory, and Device ID pulldown choices weren't saved when it gets an error.

I noticed this when I forgot to put in my choices for video memory and it gave an error. It also seems to unselect my choice for native LCD res when it errors out.

Thought someone should know.

Try first to fill out the required fields (which are a few) and after that, fill out the custom profile fields.

It's an issue with IPB. I've made a quick fix for it. Should work fine now. Only the dropdown choices weren't being re-selected as the code wasn't there to do that.

We using redirects for the driver files, so you need to disable either DAP or set it up correctly. Same with Firefox.

Another possibility is that the driver (which you have tried to download) is not uploaded correctly, but then a mere download process doesn't give out the above posted error message :)

Is that what the issue is? I cannot download ANY drivers from the site. I keep getting redirected to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers at the top of the list every time I click a driver download link. I can, however, download INFs all day long. I'm not a computer idiot but apparently I'm missing something very basic here if I can't download a file. Any help? I use Firefox but I tried IE also with no luck. I also tried changing www to download, per jessi3k3, with no luck.

It's working for millions of other users?!

Either disable any download manager, recheck your browsers configuration or just use plain rightclick or leftclick from out of the driver threads. Everything works.

Wow, all I can do is shrug. It didn't work yesterday despite my best efforts. Today it works without a hitch. I must have had some issue with my Windows session yesterday for it to affect both browsers. Thanks for the quick response. Great site and awesome archive, not to mention super easy instructions!

We had an emergency server maintenance outage due to RAID issues on the new download server a couple of hours ago. Meanwhile we used the original download server.

It's all normal again. Downloads flying.

First, I'd like to say I'm quite impressed with the amount of effort you put into this site/forum/drivers collection.

This is simply the best source of nVidia laptop drivers and drivers information I was able to locate on the net.

Unfortunately, I have troubles downloading older driver releases from your site. :)

I painfully tried to exclude all possible reasons from my side (tried both Firefox and IE, tried connecting both through proxies and directly, tried to download drivers with "wget" offline downloader, etc.) Alas, nothing helps. The overall picture is pretty consistent, and I'm going to illustrate it with wget logs.

I also can download modified .inf files for all drivers (new or old).

However I have trouble with these archived drivers at least: 44.68, 67.66, 93.71.

As you see from the above logs, after redirection to the download.laptopvideo2go.com which resolves into 3 different IPs: 74.50.4.242, 74.50.20.228, 74.50.4.243, two of them (74.50.4.242, 74.50.20.228) return "403 Forbidden" error, and one (74.50.4.243) returns "404 Not Found" for .exe and .nfo files of the older archived drivers.

Any ideas on how this can be fixed, and how I can get those drivers?

Basically not all drivers are avaialbe right now, so the error is not on your side. We ask for patience :)

hi all!

I was looking a driver that it can, the original INF, supports the Geforce GO 7400. the three last driver are:

Driver Version: 163.15

Driver Version: 156.80

Driver Version: 166.73

but it was imposible to download because i have this error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /nvidia/160series/16315.exe on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

i have a laptop DELL XPS m1210, with a Nvidia Geforce Go 7400 and I am looking for the last driver where, the original INF, can support it.

As an article in the news has said the directories on the server are also forbidden for us.

We endeavour to fix it but will need some time to do so.

This occurs if your browser is not allowing referrers or the file is missing.

I see that isn't very clear as it should be directing to another page.
