Miki
I decided to upgrade RAM in my Amilo to 2 GB since the memory prices fell through the floor in the last few weeks :) I know the optimal memory speed for my notebook is 533 MHz but since i can get 667 MHz modules for the same price (~47 ? per GB) i was wondering if there is any real benefit for me to buy PC-667 CL5 modules or should I just go with PC-533 CL4 ones ? The memory in question is 1GB Transcend JetRam PC-533, CL4 / PC-667, CL5. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Oops I should have posted this in NVIDIA GPU powered Laptops subforum, sorry :) Edited May 6, 2007 by Miki

No, except they are more future-proof if you upgrade and take them to the next lappie.

Guest seeratlas
Thank you, I will buy PC-667 RAM then :) There is another consideration. If you are running windows vista, it will take part of your main memory and use it for the video card. If that memory is 533, you will most likely get better performance with 533 mem. seer
