Alienware 5620D Problem

Hey guys, new to the forum. I have a Alienware 5620D laptop, and I have Windows XP Service Pack 1 installed. I would like to install service pack 2, but I cant because my BIOS must be out of date. I purchased this computer from a friend who purchased it online off ebay like 3 years ago, and never got the customer ID code. So I am unable to to use Alienware's website to update, or do whatever I have to do. Is there anywhere I can go to get the update? Anything I can do? Windows had me try and install this critical update, but all that did was flicker my screen blue, and keep restarting my computer (same thing SP2 did). This is really frustrating me, and I need to find a solution!! Any help anyone could offer would appreciated in the most way! Thank you. :)
