Guest kheiremans
Hi, first i want to say i've read all the faq's and guides. My specs are: Aspire 1705 SCi P4 3.06 120 GB 7200rpm 1024 DDR 333 GeForce FX Go 5600 64MB in the recommended driver page it says for the Fx Go 5xxx best driver is 67.66 in the other faq it says 84.xx(don't remember) is optimal for most cards i haven't found a single post from someone with the same gfx card who can recommend a driver. so my question is: what do you think might be optimal: 67.66, 84 or a newer one
zipper
My findings for go5700: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=7698 84.25 or a whisker faster 84.26 should be good candidates when a newish driver is required. mattman
Either will be good, in all honesty. 84.25 may have more control panel features, but 67.66 may be a touch faster. Either way you should be fine.. the difference in speed between the 2 will be minimal. If you *have* to have the fastest... then grab 3dmark05 and check them out for yourself :)
