Straight-Six Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 Hi, I've got a Geforce Go 7950GTX and I've been playing with various drivers trying to squeeze the most out of my laptop. A few of the drivers I've tested such as 165.01 (installed right now) and 97.92 give me good benchmarks. Problem is get a pink noise/series of dots that seem to randomly affect the screen. Sometimes like now, the image is fine, other times usually when running apps/games I get the dots, sometimes they're even on my desktop. Does anyone know whats causing this. My OEM driver is 86.14 and gives me 5365 in 3D Mark 06, this one (165.01) gives me 5406 but I get the noise/dots. :) Can I maybe fix this within the control panel somehow?
