nvsvc32 excessive CPU usage

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Tecra S2 running windows xp sp2 with all the latest updates, nvidia 6600go gpu.

Recently I installed a new batch of drivers the 94.22 (not the official 94.24 as i couldn't get a INF for them) but now it appears that nvsvc32 is idling at between 40-60% of CPU usage.

I know this is not normal as the default toshiba nvidia drivers that come pre-installed have an average of less then 1%.

are there any suggestions?

should i look for official Toshiba drivers? or is there something i can do to make nvsvc32 act like a good little service?

It's a 2GHz centrino, with 1.5GB of ram and the only other thing that could be affecting it i guess is ultramom.

Thanks for all your help.
