Guest envydyauser
Hello I have been using 97.94 driver over 2 months now, with no reason 2 complain. Today I isntalled DX9_June2007 and ran DXDIAG through it's series of tests. I'm AGHAST : DDraw Status: Enabled D3D Status: Enabled AGP Status: Enabled DDraw Test Result: All tests were successful. D3D7 Test Result: All tests were successful. D3D8 Test Result: Failure at step 6 (No hardware supported display modes found): HRESULT = 0x80004005 (Generic failure) D3D9 Test Result: Failure at step 6 (No hardware supported display modes found): HRESULT = 0x80004005 (Generic failure) Essentially, Direct3D versions 8 and 9 fail !!! This is tragic, as it's fundamental for video hw acceleration. I'm on a Toshiba Satellite A100 w/ GF GO 7300, WinXP SP2 any help / suggestions (other than updating to a more recent driver or moving to Vista) is more than welcome -- it's bloody needed !!! thanks in advance envydyauser
Guest atx
D3D8 Test Result: Failure at step 6 (No hardware supported display modes found): HRESULT = 0x80004005 (Generic failure) D3D9 Test Result: Failure at step 6 (No hardware supported display modes found): HRESULT = 0x80004005 (Generic failure) Essentially, Direct3D versions 8 and 9 fail !!! This is probably due to 50Hz refresh rate that your lcd was set to. Change it to higher rate in nVidia control panel.
