Toshiba p105-s9337 overclocking problems

So, as you all may know, this laptop model has been having a stuttering issue, due to BIOS problems. I fixed it by downgrading to 2.4, though that apparently doesn't work for everyone. In any case, now that my gaming is relatively stable, I'd like to increase performance through overclocking. However, I can't seem to do this with any program, it always goes back to its original speeds. This, from what I understand, means they're locked. So, is there anyway to unlock it, an, more importantly, is there anyway for me to overclock my laptop?

I use, in vista, ATI Tool 0.27 beta (although I still have that stupid stuttering issue and cannot revert to 2.40 bios). Dont forget to hit the "set clock" button. Of course when you restart your laptop your clocks return to normal. For this you can use RivaTuner and you can have it set the clocks for you on start up so it can always be overclocked, although I would not recommend this because your battery life would be abysmal. And that's that the batterylife right now on this current notebook is horrible as it is.
