Laptop Help, Please:

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here and I wanted to let you know that this is a wonderful forum.

This is my scenerio:

I bought a Toshiba laptop. Model Number A135-S4666. It had Vista on it and I downgraded it to XP.

I can't find the correct drivers to the video card and I don't know what model the Nvidia card is. I think it's a Geforce 8000M. I'm not too sure.

Do anyone know which is the correct driver to my video card for my laptop and where I can download it from?

It would be nice to install the right drivers.

Thank you so much. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Checking the stickies in the FAQ section would seem like a good idea. Just grab a driver from the download page plus it's inf and you're set.

Start with an old but trusted driver (84.69 or so). Download it. Download the modded inf next to it. Extract the driver. Replace the original inf with the modded one. Install.
