®®®
you added GlitchFreeMClk to the 11.65beta inf for NV34: NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0325.1 = "GeForce FX Go5250" NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0328.1 = "GeForce FX Go5200 32/64M" I wonder why nVidia put this setting only to these models :?: looked up the word in a dictionary: glitch=trouble? Troublefree MemoryClock??? I really dont understand it. Has it something to do when changing PowerSource from AC to battery and i.e. PowerMizer lowers the memClock to save battery life in a "glitchfree" way. Do you know more? LSudlow
Having an NV34, I've added this setting to my inf. Sounds like it must be a good thing!
mobilenvidia
Right I added to the NV34 (go5200 Det 45.81) : HKR,, GlitchFreeMClk, %REG_DWORD%, 1 HKR,, PerfLevelSrc, %REG_DWORD%, 0x23 The above will affect 5100/5200/5300 GPU's in my INF What is more interesting is the PerfLevelSrc setting, what does this do ? Could this slow performance when GPU is stressed ? Under the NV31 (g05650 Det 45.81) I added : HKR,, ExtTempHighLimit, %REG_DWORD%, 118 HKR,, LocalTempHighLimit, %REG_DWORD%, 115 Obviously something happens when the temp reaches the above settings. I added this to the NV31 section so it will affect 5600/5650/Quadro FX 700 Something for you guys to think about. Pieter
