speedy859
Installed these on a D830 with NVS 140m, working pretty well.
MrMage
This is the best driver to overclock a 8600M GT I have found so far! You just have to use the "have-disk" install method!
Guest nexs
If these didn't work for me to overclock my 8600m gt can I assume that the bios is indeed locked then? Also, is there any builtin method of UNDERCLOCKING the card otherwise? Im looking to reduce the heatgeneration through underclocking even when the laptop is connected to a poweroutlet. Thanks
MrMage
Try the 101.19 drivers then. Which NB have you got? Heat output on desktop is pretty much the same with 169/100 or 475/400 MHz.
Guest Guest
Thanks a lot! The 101.19 worked with the underclocking - and yeah i know the difference isnt big, but i noted at least 3 degrees less when running at 169/100! But not only that, but these drivers give me a 1366x768 output for my LCD tv which i had yet to find anywhere else! It was always 1360x768. So thanks :)
