LMO
I have an Apple MacBook Pro with GeForce 8600M GT 256MB graphics attached to a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW. When I boot using Vista Ultimate 32 bit and have the display attached via DVI I am unable to select the native resolution of 1680x1050, being limited to lower resolutions. If I use the VGA connection I am able to select 1680x1050. I've loaded driver version 162.22. Is there a way to make this work at native resolution? Bill
Can you add that as a custom resolution in the resolution page in the nvidia menu? Your not being limited by DVI there, single link is capable of at least 1920x1200 and dual link is capable of much higher. I think there is a problem with that LCD not reporting its native res over DVI correctly. Also have you tried another driver?
