-=Spriggan=-
Hello Fellas, I am sure this may look like a very noobish post but I really need some advice here. I am running a DELL XPS 1710 with a GeForce Go 7900 GTX (512MB) wit Win XP and noticed various problems/lag with some newer games. Well I decided to update my video drivers but I am really REALLY confused: nVidia only has the driver from mid 2006 (84.63) up on their site (the one I've been using for over a year now).... have there been no updates so far?! Some notebook homepages refer to the latest ForceWare 16X.xx Drivers but the Geforce Go 7900 GTX is not appearing in the INF list of supported chipsets so I have no clue if they'll work or not. Can you give me a hint if there are newer drivers than the 84.63 ones I have been using so far, any optimal ones, or if the normal ForceWare drivers work for the Go series as well? (I am running WinXP by the way) Please drop me a line about this if you have a useful hint since I am really frustrated with searching by now. I would appreaciate it a lot ./hug :) Cheers :) Spriggan
Guest X3
Hi Wrong idea hers what I recommend STEP 1 http://support.euro.dell.com/support/email...;l=en&s=dhs submit a ticket and wait for reply make a note of your case number when you submit when you receive the reply you prolly notice it isnt quite what you were expecting (wow surprised?) STEP 2 Well just follow the next link UNRESOLVED ISSUES http://support.euro.dell.com/support/topic...;l=en&s=dhs Use you case number from that you made note of fill in the boxes and type away till your heart content. Wait for reply and keep on following step two untill you get satisfaction out of that. This is a rate of maybe twice maybe 3 times a month considering support are crap and slow and the chat http://support.euro.dell.com/support/topic...;l=en&s=dhs doest work. Im doing it
