Musea
I'm using QosmioE10 and installed driver for my FX Go5200 version 78.17 date 26/07/2005 with Windows Vista. However, as in startup of Vista, it shows that this is a NVIDIA compatible windows 2000 driver. The graphic memory is 64MB and I can use it without any problem. There is a software called NVIDIA nView Wizard is installed when I installed this driver. My problem appears when I tried to update driver to 96.77 by forcing Vista to install nVidia Geforce FX Go5200 32M/64M with nv_ts.inf. The installation was successful. But the NVIDIA nView Wizard was uninstalled also. The graphic memory is appx 317MB. It works great also. I can enable Windows Aero with transperancy windows well. The problem is that when I put Vista into sleep mode then wake it up, my monitor doesn't display anything, it's just black and I cannot do anything with my laptop even I push the power button to shutdown. I have to push it for long to force Windows to shutdown. I think because nView Wizard was removed so my laptop has that problem. But I'm not sure. Please help me to fix this problem with new driver. I really love the new driver. Thanks in advance.
wasislos
I found a driver you might try http://www.wcm.at/contentteller.php/news_s...iber_flash.html Ignore the language and select one that says Toshiba
LSudlow
I recommend either 98.13 or 98.16. Part of your problem may be that you need to uninstall the earlier driver before upgrading to the 9x series. Nvidia made an architecture change in the 9x series that didn't play well with the FX5200 chips and can cause the problems you're seeing. Uninstall the Nvidia Drivers in the Vista Control Panel, then install either 98.13 or 98.16.
