I try to install using the setup file and it says that it could not find drivers that are compatable with my hardware, but I have the Go 7900 GS which the original inf supports

how can i fix this

Doesn't work with my G1S, has an 8600M GT.

Hopefully it works great with a modified .inf.

Thanks! The modded inf with this driver gives great results on my asus G1S 8600m gt. I do have one problem: this notebook has hdmi as 2nd monitor output and with this driver it doesnt work properly.. is it in any way possible to use the 3d functionality of this driver but the dual display functionality of an older driver? (like this one: http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/G2S/VGA_VISTA_070517.zip - this is g2s but same graphics card)

well i didn't use the mod inf, instead i get from the original inf.zip

So far didn't encounter any problem but my 3dmarks06 is equivalent with my original drivers 101.19 . The highest score i manage to achieve was on 158.45 or 162.18.

I am using Acer Aspire 5920G (8600M GT)
