Xtreme-G Drivers are back!

Some may have noticed that Tweaks R Us was down for a while and nothing new for mobile was coming out beyond 101.70. TweaksRUs.com has been reborn as TweakForce.com as well as new mobile forceware or XTreme-G mobile drivers 163.44 for all platforms Vista 32/64 and XP 32/64. I'm currently downloading the XP and Vista drivers to test them out. I'm planning on putting Vista on my Notebook on the weekend and can't wait to see how they preform.

Asus C90S

Core 2 Duo e6700 2.66Ghz

3GB DDR2 667

160GB HDD SATA2 3.0GB/s 7200RPM

8600M GT 512MB VRAM

Windows XP Pro SP2

3DMark'06

Forceware 101.16 (default with notebook)

3124

3DMark'06

XTreme-G 163.44 (TweakForce.com)

3280 (Booya!! Still not up to what I'd expect, but better.)

What a pity that you need to register to be able to even just see their new forums. Even the SpeedTest is only allowed for registered people. I would be interested what happened to the TweaksRUs site (besides 'got hacked') and i hope Jrd1st and Daishi are doing fine.

Also be interested how our INFs do vs the rest :)

What did happen to tweaksrus, like rene said tweakforce is a gated community, no register no even looking.

I can't OC the GPU with RivaTuner and 163.44, but alas I can't play BF1942 with 101.17!

Just as a comparison what do you get from our 163.44 INF ?

Quite dissapointing 3D Mark results for the 8600M GT

My go7900GS with stock 375/506Mhz clocks gets 3482 as per here

This with no performance tweaks

But the 8x00 series will no doubt kick butt with DX10

3D Mark 2k8 is needed.

Hey, I tried to use 16344 and 162.18 with modded .inf from here, but I kept getting blue screens. Any ideas, I was really looking forward to trying 162.18 with the results ppl have gotten. While I can now play FPSs fine, but LOTR Online is (shock) stuttering, @%#^%! XTreme-G 163.44 G2 was released yesterday, so I'm gonna download that right now and see how that works out. They also came out with a new version of 101.70 which in the past have been good drivers, but I was unable to play BF1942. I'll try these out as well.

Same 3DMark'06 Score as the first version.

OK, I've just tested XG 101.70. My first comments are COD2 work for me now, which along with BF1942 didn't last time I used these. I have not tested BF1942, was about to upload the CD image to my notebook so could test it out when my external took a spill, now I'll have to wait till I get off of work to test BF1942. That is if I wanna keep 101.70 on my notebook, they seem to not preform to well.

Vista Business

2DMark'06

XG 101.70 G2

OCed CPU

Some things wrong here. Games play fine on here, but the bench says they shouldn't, WTF!

Is there any way I can get the LV2G drivers to work or is there anyway I can help get them to work?

*EDIT* Wonderful, I just figured out that once I install 16X.XX drivers and revered back to lower drivers I can't seem to be able to OC the GPU again...WTF. Lets see if driver cleaner fixes that?

Wow, thanks RangerXML. These work fantastic in XP but horrible in Vista. The usual stuttering is in effect.
