chillcut
hey guys... is it possible to overclock with this new driver? i overclocked my 8600M GT (standard: 470 / 636 now: 560 / 865 :) ) and generally, how can i check if a new driver is overclockable BEFORE installing it (in the case that nobody asked for it in the forum :) ) greets chillcut

Morthal
What drivers do you use now to o/c? And is this a problem to reinstall the old drivers when o/c in this one will fail? :) Waiting for modded inf :)

Guest doubleblack
is it possible to overclock with this new driver? You cannot overclock any 16*.** driver...
RangerXML
I haven't been able to overclock since I installed 163.44 (even after uninstalling it, running driver cleaner and driver sweeper) :-( I though cool 3DMark'06 score of 3500, if I OC I should get it close to breaking 4000, but noooo. WTF, why?

Guest sgrby877
You cannot overclock any 16*.** driver... are you sure? i have the bioshock drivers and i can overclock. all i used was ntune =p
Guest Guest
Does it work on 8400M GT ? Cause I've installed a release 2 days ago and I've sometimes some bluescreens troubles since that. But, I suppose I have to wait for the Modded Inf of this version in any case. Sorry for my English. Hackez
To the above posters, these drivers won't work for any Laptop Graphic Cards until someone here gets the free time to make the Modded Infs, hopefully sometime soon. :)
Guest Takenover83
To those wanting to overclock, does Ntune not work? I am using a BIOS mod to overclock, but maybe give NTUNE a shot?

Borolad
Hi All, First post so go easy eh. Can anyone tell me if the BSOD issue is resolved with this driver? A lot of m1710 users were having BSOD probs with 163.44 Cheers
therealleimi
Are you shure that overclocing with these drivers doesn't work? I've installed the 163.44-Bioshock-driver and overclocked my card via rivatuner. I haven't checked the performance yet with some benchmarks. Raphie
Installed on my XPS-M1330 no issues so far, works perfectly!
Morthal
Same performance and options like in 163.44, no issues found. But still can't o/c. I can't o/c in any 16x.xx drivers or 15x.xx drivers, only in some 101 series (including 101.34 default drivers from my notebook driver CD). On my default drivers I have 3414pts in 3dmark06, o/c to 590/475 I had over 4k points: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2699021 On 163.44 I have 3564pts. All tests in free version of 3dmark, res 1280x800. Edited September 12, 2007 by Morthal
therealleimi
what do you exactly mean with 'can't overclock'? Can you set different clockspeeds than the default settings but don't gain an improvement in your performance or is it impossible to set different clockspeeds?
