danieljkoning Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 I have an Acer Aspire 5920 with an NVidia GeForce 8600M GS. When playing bluray movies, the framerate is TERRIBLE. I tried updating to the latest driver with the modded inf. Afterwards, whenever I try to play bluray movies in 'Acer Arcade' (which is where I was playing them before), I keep getting an error stating that I have one of two problems. 1 - I am not using the Windows Aero color scheme - Checked that - Using Aero color scheme 2 - The protected content of the disc wont play because I dont have 'screen capture' disabled. Check that my VGA adapter has screen capture disabled and try again. The reason I started trying to find a new driver was because of the framerate issues with bluray. Also, when I hook up the HDMI output to my 50" Samsung plasma panel (1080P) it shows my background (using 'display the same on both displays') but when I try to play a bluray, it gave me the warning "drivers not compatible" Somebody please help!
