®®®
MacromediaAdobe Labs today has released another prerelease version of it's new Flash Player for all systems and browsers including Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer. This is the release candidate for the upcoming v9.x, codename "Moviestar" and it includes new features, enhancements and bugfixes: Support for H.264 video and HE-AAC audio codecs. Multi-core support for vector rendering. Full screen mode with hardware scaling. Flash Player cache for common platform components, such as the Flex framework. Support for Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) in the Windows plug-in. See the complete Release Notes including the changelog and a known issues list over HERE. The Flash Player release candidate supports all languages; however, the prerelease installers are only in English and Adobe accepts feedback in English only at this time. Important: All users should uninstall any currently installed Flash Player before installing the release candidate, which is done best by downloading and running Adobe's Flash Uninstaller Tool. This not only removes all old found versions scattered in %SYSTEMROOT% and especially in %WINDIR%\system32\Macromedia\Flash but also ensures proper removal in non-default locations for example when using a portable browser installation of Opera on D:\%somepath% Get the new version for all OS and browsers mentioned above over HERE.
