For some reason, I can't get the video bios version or date. :) Also, the last step (whether i hit ignore or cancel just locks - had to kill the application - when it asks for full screen mode) The laptop is from *gasp* ibuypower, though I'm pretty sure they aren't the actual manufacturer (based on what these files say - it's MSI). I emailed them, for entertainment purposes, for an updated bios/video drivers, so we'll see what happens. Cheers.
