Dell does not use MXM cards, sorry.

They use a proprietary system, I don't know if interoperatability exists.

Of course, Dell support MXM format in his laptops !.

I've Inspiron 9400 too with a MXM 7900GS go.

I suggest you to replace your 7800 with a 7950 GTX go MXM card instead of a 8600 GT M. (Not supporting Directx 10 but really and actually the best graphic card for laptops !)

Hey guys, I to have an Inspiron 9400 but with 7900 GS 256mb. Which GFX-card is the best to-date to change to, since my own one is kinda broken (TV-OUT doesnt work, and showing GFX-faults in every game. Different drivers doesnt help)?

Gonna call Dell to see which ones they can help me switch to, if any other than one of the same model. What do ya guys think?

Thanx
