techPowerUp GPU-Z v0.0.8 BETA is out

Recommended Posts

W1zzard has released a new revision again :)

Analog to CPU-Z this tool reads out the specifications (i.e. name of card, name of GPU, driver version, VBIOS version, DEV_ID, SUBSYS_ID, ROP, Shaders, Pixel and Texture Fillrate, Memory Type and Size, Bus Width, Bandwidth, GPU and GPU Memory Clocks) of your GPU.

  • Support NVIDIA and ATI cards
  • Displays adapter, GPU and display information
  • Displays overclock, default clocks and 3D clocks (if available)
  • Validation of results
  • No installation required
  • Support for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista (both 32 and 64 bit versions are supported)

Changelog to v0.0.7:

  • Added numerous new ATI and NVIDIA devices.
  • Fixed crashes on older NVIDIA driver versions. I would like to thank Jon from www.xsreviews.co.uk for testing and feedback. Without his help fixing this would have taken much longer.
  • Improved ATI driver version detection for Vista and XP.
  • Corrected ROP/Shader readings on ATI and NVIDIA.
  • Removed unintended E-Mail requirement for validation upload.
  • Validation is only possible with the latest version of GPU-Z.
  • Fixed double memory clock readings on pre-GeForce 7 cards.
  • Updater will actually open new browser window when requested to do so.

Get it either from the creators of the tool at techPowerUp.com or from a quick mirror i set up: GPU-Z v0.0.8

This is a one file executable. No installation orgy. No Registry entries. Just run the .exe
