blah238
First of all this is a verrrryy old bug, started with the 9x.xx series and NVIDIA has never fixed it. Previous to the 9x.xx series, using the full-screen video mirroring option ran at the native/current resolution of the secondary display (or whichever display was not running the video player), and preserved the video's original aspect ratio. Starting with the 9x.xx series, however, the full-screen video mirroring option runs at the resolution of the video and fills the screen, disregarding the aspect ratio. This like a double whammy. Lower picture quality because of the resolution change, and stretched/squashed videos. NVIDIA doth sucketh indeed. So my question is, can we fix this ourselves with the INF file? I used to watch a lot of video on my secondary monitor while running full-screen apps on my main display, but this was only really bearable with 8x.xx series drivers because the aspect ratio was kept intact.
