Guest cathor Posted October 22, 2007 Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 I have a pretty huge problem with my 8600M GT. all the emulators that i have tried (zsnes, nestopia etc) suffers from pretty severe tearing. the wierd thing is that it only occurs while using the laptop monitor (1440x900, 60 hz) and not on my external monitor (1280x1024, 60 hz). my other laptop with a ATI mobile radeon 32mb card is able to run these emulators flawlessly. at the moment i am using the 163.75 drivers. many of these emulators use directdraw and from what i have heard newer nvidia cards have poor 2d support. is that correct? anyway, i would be really greatful if someone could help me out here. do I have to change some settings in the control panel? are the any other drivers that are better when it comes to playing emulators?
