Woody
Hello, I am new to all these drivers and stuff. I bought a Dell XPS m1710. It has 4GB or RAM and a nVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX. I also have a blu-ray drive. I was having alot of probs with playing blu-ray movies and i read on forums that vista is causing driver problems. So I contacted Dell support and asked if I could run Windows XP Pro x64 Edition. I had heard x64 ed ran a little faster and would let me take advantage of the 4gb of ram i have. Dell stated i could run it and that I could download all drivers from them. Well now I have installed it and the nVidia driver they provide isn't compatible w/ 64bit edition. It will not install. nVida does not provide a download on there website either. Any reccomendations? Because I don't know if I should just go back to vista 32bit or what. Any help or reccomendation are appreciated. Thanks again, Ryan
